Galaxy F70 5G price in India
- 4GB + 128GB: ₹19,999 (Flipkart listing)
- 6GB + 128GB: ₹22,999 (Flipkart listing)
- Effective price with offers: ₹17,999 is being promoted on social media; confirm the offer terms on Flipkart
Before the official price: what the teaser said
The Flipkart teaser only says “₹1X,XXX”, so the starting price will sit somewhere between ₹10,000 and ₹19,999. Some websites have guessed at figures close to ₹19,000, but those are estimates, not Samsung’s numbers. Launch-day prices in this segment often come with bank card offers and exchange deals, so the effective price on day one can be lower than the list price.
An older listing on some price-comparison sites still shows a MediaTek chip and a price near ₹11,500. That page predates Samsung’s teasers and does not match the confirmed Exynos 1330, so it is best ignored.
Is it a renamed Galaxy A17 5G?
Possibly. Earlier listings on Google Play Console and India’s BIS certification site suggested that the F70 5G is closely based on the Galaxy A17 5G, and the specifications revealed so far line up closely, from the Exynos 1330 chip to the 50MP camera with OIS. The Tech Outlook says the details “further suggest a close connection” between the two phones. Samsung has not said so itself.
This is common practice. Samsung’s F series is usually sold online through Flipkart, while the A series is sold both online and in shops. The two lines often share hardware, with small changes in design, colours or pricing.
How does the Exynos 1330 hold up?
The Exynos 1330 is a 5nm 5G chip from Samsung that is also used in the Galaxy A17 and Galaxy F17. It is built for everyday use: social media, video calls, streaming and light gaming. People who play heavy games for hours may find more powerful chips in rival phones at similar prices. Gizbot described the chip and the 25W charging as “relatively modest” and said the phone’s value will depend on its final price.
On the other hand, the AMOLED screen, the OIS camera and NFC payments are features that buyers in this price range often look for. The 7.5mm body is also slim for a phone with a 5,000mAh battery.
Who will it compete with?
The under-₹20,000 5G segment is one of the most crowded in India. Brands like Redmi, Realme and Motorola all have phones here, many with faster charging or bigger batteries. Samsung’s usual pitch in this range is its software support, its service network and features such as Knox security and Samsung Wallet.
Five things to check before you buy
- The charger: one report says the 25W charger may have to be bought separately. Check the box contents on the Flipkart listing.
- Software updates: look for how many years of Android and security updates Samsung promises for this model.
- The base variant: the lowest price usually comes with the least RAM and storage. Make sure it is enough for your needs.
- Bank offers: launch discounts often apply only to certain cards, so compare the price you will actually pay.
- The IP rating: “splash-resistant” is not the same as water-resistant. Check if an official IP rating is listed.

What happens today
Samsung is expected to reveal the price, memory variants and sale date at the launch. We will update this article once the official details are out.
Questions to think about
- Is a brand’s service network worth paying a little more for in a budget phone?
- Do you care more about charging speed or about how many years of updates a phone gets?
- Should companies say clearly when two phones share the same hardware?
