How to download the UIIC AO admit card 2026

  1. Go to uiic.co.in and open Careers, then Recruitment.
  2. Click Recruitment of Administrative Officers-Generalists and Hindi Officers-2026.
  3. Open the link for the Phase I call letter. It takes you to a login page hosted by IBPS (ibpsreg.ibps.in), which runs the online exam for UIIC.
  4. Enter your registration number or roll number and your password or date of birth (DD-MM-YY), then type the captcha.
  5. Click Login, then download the call letter as a PDF.
  6. Print it on plain A4 paper. Keep a copy on your phone too, but carry the printout.

Your registration number is in the email and SMS you got when you applied. If you have lost it, look for the “forgot registration number” option on the login page.

A word of caution: many websites claim to offer a “direct link”. Some of them point to old or test pages. Start from uiic.co.in so you know you are on the real login page, and never pay anyone to download your call letter.

What to check on your call letter

  • Your name, photo and signature
  • Roll number and registration number
  • Exam date, shift and reporting time
  • The full address of your exam centre
  • Instructions for the exam day

If anything is wrong, such as a spelling mistake in your name or a blurred photo, contact UIIC through the helpline or email listed on the recruitment page as early as possible, well before October 22.

UIIC AO prelims exam pattern

The prelims is a qualifying round. As reported by coaching sites based on the notice, it has three sections, each with its own time limit:

  • English Language: 30 questions, 30 marks, 20 minutes
  • Reasoning Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes

That adds up to 100 questions and 100 marks in 60 minutes. Because each section is timed separately, you cannot carry spare minutes from one section to another. In earlier UIIC exams, a quarter of a mark was deducted for each wrong answer. Check the instructions in this year’s notice or on your call letter before deciding how many guesses to make.

Documents to carry on October 22

  • A printed copy of the call letter
  • An original photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, passport or driving licence, plus a photocopy
  • Two recent passport-size photographs, the same as the one you uploaded
  • Any other document listed on your call letter

The name on your ID should match the name on your call letter. If you changed your name after marriage or for any other reason, carry the supporting document.

Exam-day tips

  • Reach early. Reports say the reporting time is around 8 am. Your call letter has the exact time for your centre. Gates usually close strictly.
  • Visit the centre a day before if it is in an area you do not know. Traffic and parking can eat up time.
  • Leave gadgets at home. Phones, smartwatches, calculators, notes and bags are not allowed inside.
  • Follow the biometric and photo process. Your photo and thumb impression may be captured at the centre.
  • Read each section’s timer. Do not spend 10 minutes on one hard puzzle in a 20-minute section.

What happens after the prelims

Candidates who clear the prelims will be called for the Phase II (mains) exam, tentatively on November 30, 2026, according to coaching sites. Reports say the Generalist stream also includes a descriptive test, followed by an interview. UIIC will publish the prelims result and the mains call letters on its website.

Questions to think about

  • Should recruitment bodies put every exam detail, like negative marking and shift times, on a single official page?
  • Do sectional time limits test speed more than knowledge?
  • How can candidates tell a genuine exam link from a fake one?
